The Bank of England has eased rates by a quarter point ... which may help UK buyers somewhat but credit is still relatively tight in France (Euroland) where the ECB seems loath to interfere on the credit market for the moment. All this means that French buyers are thin on the ground, despite the increasingly obvious buyers market.
